Shabby House - Altered House Panel
Do you prefer the “lighter” and more feminine version of mixed-media? Do you love working with paper and stamps, but would like to try a bit more adventurous techniques based on paints and art mediums as well? Would you like to create a dimensional project which will add a special, personal touch to your house or make a perfect gift for those you love?
During this class you can: step-by-step we will work on all the layers and textures to build our 3D object out of HDF bases and elements and a range of embellishments. We will be using a range of products from my Art Basics and Art Alchemy lines including gesso, gels and Liquid Acrylics and using my Tissue Papers, paper flowers and metal embellishments we will create beautiful, composition… all that means you are getting a lot of creative freedom combined with useful tips and inspirational techniques which you can apply to many future projects! All the elements, paints and mediums are provided – this project is suitable both for advanced and beginning students.
Students will need to bring some basic items to class, included brushes, palette knife, apron; a detailed list of items will be communicated prior to class.
